Keywords:
Empowerment;, Disaster Response Schools;, Landslide Prone;Abstract
The village of Banjarsari, located in Lebakgedong Subdistrict, is an area prone to landslides due to its hilly topography and high rainfall. The local community, especially children, still lacks sufficient knowledge and preparedness to respond effectively to emergency disaster situations. Through this community service program, the team conducted empowerment activities in the form of a "Disaster-Resilient School" training and simulation at SDN 2 Banjarsari. The methods used included lectures, group discussions, and evacuation simulations. The results showed an increase in awareness and preparedness among both students and teachers in facing potential disasters. Additionally, a school-based disaster response team was formed to serve as the forefront of mitigation efforts within the school environment
