Abstract

The phenomenon of parental divorce often causes psychological effects on children, one of which is a decrease in resilience. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of group counseling based on Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with the reframing technique in improving resilience in middle school students who are victims of parental divorce. This study uses a pretest-posttest design without a control group, involving 8 students with low resilience. Data were collected using a resilience scale consisting of seven aspects and analyzed using repeated measure ANOVA. The results showed a significant increase in resilience scores, from pretest (M = 55.87) to posttest (M = 80.12) and follow-up (M = 88.25), with F(1,8) = 366.28 and p < 0.001. These results indicate the effectiveness of the reframing technique in enhancing resilience in students who are victims of parental divorce.
