This study analyzes the implementation of labor placement policies in Lebak Regency, focusing on their impact on reducing unemployment and improving community welfare. Despite positive effects, such as a decrease in unemployment rates, challenges persist, including a mismatch between worker skills and industry needs, lack of coordination between government and companies, and the prevalence of intermediaries. The findings suggest that improving skill training, enhancing coordination with the private sector, and strengthening regulatory oversight can enhance policy effectiveness. This research contributes to the literature on labor policies and public administration, providing insights for better implementation strategies in regions with high unemployment.
