PENGARUH PEMAKAIAN BAHAN BAKU TERHADAP PERSEDIAAN BAHAN BAKU DI PT SEJIN LESTARI FURNITURE RANGKASBITUNG

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of raw material usage on the raw material inventory variable at PT Sejin Lestari Furniture Rangkasbitung. The background of this research highlights the importance of raw material control in production activities to prevent waste and mismatches in storage and usage. The main issue addressed is whether there is a significant influence between raw material usage and raw material inventory. The research method employed is a quantitative approach with an associative method, using primary data obtained through interviews, observation, and questionnaires. Data analysis techniques include simple linear regression tests, t-tests, and the coefficient of determination. The results show that raw material usage has a significant effect on raw material inventory, as evidenced by a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a determination coefficient of 64.3%. This means that 64.3% of the variation in raw material inventory is explained by raw material usage, while the remaining percentage is influenced by other factors. In conclusion, proper management of raw material usage plays a vital role in maintaining the stability of the company's raw material inventory.
