Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of Regional Regulation No. 2 of 2011 on Green Open Spaces (GOS) in Lebak Regency, focusing on the integration of business strategies for sustainability. The main challenges identified include fragmented planning, limited maintenance funding, and low community and private sector involvement. The study underscores the need for public participation, sustainable financing models, and the application of business strategies such as green tourism and eco-friendly commercial activities. Results point to the urgency of improving governance, enforcing regulations, and adopting innovative business models to amplify the social, economic, and environmental impact of GOS. This research contributes practical insights for policymakers to enhance sustainable urban green space management.
