This study examines the potential of social entrepreneurship in supporting the development of Child-Friendly Cities (KLA) in West Jakarta, focusing on the private sector’s role in providing child-friendly public spaces and related services. Key challenges include limited private sector participation and weak institutional coordination. Findings reveal that social entrepreneurship can bridge public service gaps, especially in managing RPTRA facilities and offering parental education. The study underscores the importance of cross-sector collaboration and recommends sustainable social entrepreneurship models applicable to other urban contexts.
